Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, has introduced Vivace E to the East African market, bringing a refined, modern-day aesthetic to the run-of-the-mill switch and socket coupled with intuitive functionality and performance.
Part of the well-known Vivace range, which has been trusted by customers for more than two decades, Vivace E represents the next evolution of elegance and functionality with an eye-catching slim profile, sleek frameless panel and curved corners.

Designed with the user in mind
Vivace E has been developed with attention to the small details that make a difference to everyday interaction. Its precisely engineered faceplate, for example, provides a smooth touch, light pressure and firm rebound, creating a satisfying tactile experience every time the switch is used.
Furthermore, the range is designed with the hospitality sector in mind, with Do Not Disturb (DND) indicators, keycard, mechanical curtain switches, bell switch, night foot lamps, and panic buttons, international switched sockets included for a more intuitive guest experience.
The range also incorporates practical features designed to simplify installation and maintenance. Slots beneath the cover plate allow individual switches or the complete cover to be removed quickly using quick-release latches, helping electricians work more efficiently while making future maintenance easier.
The enlarged socket terminals accommodate 2 × 4 mm² cables, making wiring and connections easier, including where larger cables are required. Mounting screws further support straightforward installation.
Safety and reliability
Safety remains fundamental to the Vivace E range with double pole switched sockets and integrated safety shutters to prevent accidental contact with live parts.
The range also reflects Schneider Electric’s commitment to more sustainable product development, with materials are compliant with applicable REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations.
