SHANGHAI, Jan 22, 2025 — CHINT, a recognized leader in smart energy, has launched its groundbreaking 2030 sustainable development strategy, marking a pivotal moment in its commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.

The event, attended by thousands of supply chain partners, was led by five Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) from key CHINT subsidiaries.

At the heart of this strategic launch is CHINT’s “EMPOWER” Sustainable Development Model, which focuses on eight crucial areas: Climate Change, Clean Technology Opportunities, Promoting a Circular Economy, Sustainable Product Management, Human Capital Development, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Corporate Governance, and Business Ethics.

In his speech at the launch, Mr. Nan Cunhui, Chairman of CHINT Group, emphasized, “Given the urgent challenges posed by climate change, sustainable development is no longer a choice—it’s an imperative.

We are committed to becoming an ‘explorer, advocate, and practitioner’ of green and low-carbon development, embedding sustainability deeply into our business model, and collaborating with global partners to incorporate ESG into corporate strategies.

Our goal is to create a sustainable development ecosystem, drive energy transformation, and collectively make our vision of a sustainable future a reality.”

Through fostering interdepartmental collaboration and engaging with external partners, CHINT ensures the successful execution of its ESG initiatives, reinforcing long-term value and enhancing social impact.

As a major enterprise with a significant presence in the global electric power and new energy markets, CHINT has embedded ESG principles into its strategy and operations.
